Hotel Borik - Lumbarda

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Lumbarda. The location was great, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The rooms weresuper clean and cozy, and the pool was a nice bonus. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options. we had a fantastic experience and would recommend this hotel to others.

Such tourist sights as studenac where near to the hotel. You can also visit Zure Restaurant that offers excellant meals. Even the Dubrovnik airport was not so far...

The hotel was basic but expected, with a nice pool area and a quiet atmosphere. The location in the center of Lumbarda was very convenient. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and the staff was friendly.

The price on the website was advertised in euros. When we tried to pay in euros, or with our credit card, they converted into kunas unless we wanted to pay in euros but with a commission fee. We did not encounter this anywhere else in Croatia, and they should have told us this in advance. prices were inflated for quality of hotel, although this happens all over Croatia.

Staff was very professional and kind. Rooms have been cleaned every day. Towels were changed regulary and the bathroom was cleaned daily. Food was very good.For breakfast there were lots of various choiches and diner was also very good. The view from the terrace is beautiful Hotel is for recommendation.

The best thing about the hotel is its location, the views from its terrace and the pool. The reception staff was very helpful, too.

It is obvious that at the renovation, most money has been spent on the outside, cosmetic fixes only. Underneath this mask, this is still just a 2-star hotel with the management mindset that reminds you of the workers-resorts in the times of socialism. The room and the bathroom haven't been properly cleaned for the whole week of our stay.

It's really hard to say something good about this Hotel, but one of the receptionist was nice.

In the first day we arrived one hour earlier, the rooms were ready but they made us wait until the 2 pm to enter the room. This is an example of the kind of treatment we received in Hotel Borik. The air conditioning is extra paid (10 EUR/day). No lift (6 flights of stairs). The room was never cleaned (4 days we stayed). No shampoo or soap. Bad breakfast, bread was old. Staff treated us with disdain. We really felt we weren´t welcome, they only care with money (we paid in advance). Probably the worse 3 stars hotel in the World.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel located just across from a fine sandy beach. The hotel facilities were really good, and I enjoyed the refreshing pool and delicious breakfast with cooked options. The staff was attentive and friendly, always eager to provide recommendations for transportation and activities. this city was the perfect location for my island vacation, situated in the centre of a charming and relaxing town, making it easy to reach all my desired activities.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel, as it was a wonderful stay overall.

Hotel staff did not offer to show us to the room or assist with carrying bags up 4 flights of stairs, also we were offered a breakfast pack to be prepared due to our early departure from the hotel but this was not available when we checked out

Beautiful location, overlooking the bay when eating or relaxing with a drink outside reception. Staff were lovely and scooters and trips could be booked at the front desk. Quiet and peaceful, restaurants were tasty and good value.

Could do perhaps with an elevator, the pool could be a little bigger. A fly free room for the buffet breakfast would be a good idea. The ping pong table is in doors where it is too hot to play.

The hotel location was excellent, right in the heart of the town centre. the room had a great view of the surrounding area and the facilities were satisfactory. the breakfast had a good variety to it and was quite filling.

The staff at the hotel were not welcoming or friendly at all and seemed uninterested in helping with our needs.
